Paris Saint-Germain are also not expected to simply hold firm on the €170M figure throughout negotiations. The French champions are reportedly open to discussions over the final transfer fee.
That could give Liverpool an opportunity to find common ground with PSG if they remain serious about bringing Barcola to Anfield.
The gap between the two clubs’ valuations remains significant, but negotiations could gradually bring the price down to a figure Liverpool are more comfortable with.
